Our October meeting and picnic was yesterday afternoon. The threat of rain kept us inside; we just fit into my dining room.
- Thank You everyone for all the wonderful food. Much more than we could ever eat
- We held our festbier competition (and I managed to mix up the beers, sorry)
- Charles took first place (I do have the paddle in my house if you wish to hang it on a wall for a while)
- David and Ben tied for second and third
- Eric had the fourth place entry
- Our next several meetings will be indoors, at SF brewing
I did not attempt to track the other beers that were pulled out, though there was a variety of German and others
- Ken did bring something that was caramel apple and fluorescent green!
Josh forwarded Esther’s dessert recipe, which was a hit.
And I will add a focaccia recipe (it does take 24 hrs)
